About the Land.

Costa Rica has a unique history as a Central American country because it was never subjected to the violent colonization that other countries in the region were forced to endure. Thus it maintained a sort of innocence, and the area of Monteverde is especially incredible because the early Quaker community in collaboration with the locals had the foresight to protect the native cloud forest from development.

Our Mission.

At the ArcoStudio: Art and Biodynamic Agriculture is to connect Biodynamic agriculture, art, academics and tourism near the Monteverde Cloud Forest of Coast Rica.

Tending the land through Biodynamic Agriculture with an artistic and educational impulse, we bring a unique perspective to our students and visitors.

ArcoStudio: Art and Biodynamic Agriculture provides education and eco-tourism to people interested in a holistic, interdisciplinary experience connecting farming, nutrition and art. Our services include practical and academic programs and accommodation.
